To keep a strong bond with God, try spending time in prayer and reading the scriptures. Let go of things that don’t matter and focus on loving God deeply, because He’ll give us everything we need to do what He wants. Things we own here on earth are temporary, but the gifts from heaven and our strength to handle life’s tough times last forever. To keep going, we need to leave behind who we used to be and live in love. When we love like Jesus loves everything, it will all work out as He wants. But if we don’t know how to love or what love is, we can’t make any plans with God at the center. We need to learn to love first. The scriptures have all the answers we need.
